in your face, jane austen!
as of 5 nov 2007 at 10pm, our amazon ranking is ahead of jane austen’s letters in the books › literature & fiction › letters & correspondence category and behind letters to penthouse xv: outrageous, erotic, orgasmic!

i mean, looking at the numbers, it would seem that if jane austen’s letters was titled jane austen’s letters: outrageous, erotic, orgasmic!, it might be doing better. or even, jane austen’s letters: hopes, fears, secrets, resolutions. jane austen was always shit at snappy subtitles. i think that’s what always held her back.

And, a sexier cover wouldn’t kill her. Who the f is handling her book design/marketing?!?!? That said, she’s sort of like Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon”…she’ll never peak that high, but will be on the list for the next seven decades.
How many volumes of Penthouse letters are there, anyway? Do some of volumes I - XIV fill up the first 11 slots?
Have you tracked down the people who are already selling used copies of your book? Seems a li’l quick, no?

i like your comparison of jane austen to pink floyd. shine on you crazy austen.
the people who are selling ‘used and new’ books on amazon are usually booksellers who discount the book and then make up the money in shipping costs. i think. i dunno though.
i haven’t checked, but i think that this is the latest penthouse letters. but whatever. i’m glad i didn’t have to edit that thing. the depression potential on it is high.
