I've seen weird things on my rides, but they're nearly always real...like the wild turkeys running around Newton and Brookline. Yes, wild turkeys, big ones, in some of the more tony urban communities in the area. Deer running across the road at 7,000 feet I'm used to. Turkeys darting too and fro at sea level not so much. Also, I do dig the long shadow effect. I love looking like a huge cycling monster. I just need to figure out how to capture that with my cell cam, and not crash.
